BDI predicts 10 per cent growth
In the running year 2007 German exports will again benefit from higher growth rates than the world trade, being expected to increase by 7.5 per cent. According to a poll by the Federation of German Industries (DIHK) German exports will jump up by 10 per cent in 2007.
There are two main reasons for this positive outlook:
World trade is constantly boosting and German companies enjoy an excellent competitive position.
But there are major regional differences:
Where as exports to America do not grow significantly, export rates to Asia still show substantial increase.
Europe still being the backbone of German exporting industries, the prospects for German export business have clearly brightened.
