15.10.2008Frankfurt’s intersec for the first time in Almaty in May 2009
For the first time ever the Messe Frankfurt in cooperation with ITECA Central Asia will itself organize a trade fair in the Atakent Exhibition Center in Almaty. The topic will be security, the name of the fair is ‘intersec Central Asia’ and it will take place in May 2009 (27. - 29.05.2009).
The main product groups of the security exhibition are security systems, fire protection and fire safety equipments and services, natural disasters & rescue equipment, tools and systems and national security.
Intersec is the latest addition to Messe Frankfurt's portfolio of trade-fair brands.
Under this brand name, the fair and exhibition company is bringing together a worldwide range of events for security products and services.
The intersec brand portfolio
The global brand consists of four trade fairs, all held outside Germany: Intersec in Dubai; Intersec (China) in Shenzhen, Intersec Thailand in Bangkok and Intersec Central Asia in Kazakhstan. Messe Frankfurt also holds the leading trade fair on security in Argentina – Seguriexpo Buenos Aires and organises the Intersec Forum in Frankfurt.
Due to the current political situation in Thailand, the first edition of Intersec Thailand scheduled for 1 – 3 December 2008 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre has been postponed and no date has yet been fixed for the event.
