German companies have realised 10 trade show participations in their home country and abroad in the years 2006 - 2007. They are actually planning to spend on average about 400,000 € for the two year period 2008 - 2009 on exhibitions.
Source: KME / AUMAAround 56,000 German companies participate at trade shows and exhibitions in Germany. Almost half of them (45 %) are also present at exhibitions abroad. 85 % of these companies expect that trade show participations will keep or even increase their importance within the marketing-mix during the next five years. These are the results of the FairTrend 2008, a representative survey conducted by TNS-Emnid on behalf of the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA).
