Euro Fair Statistics 2007 available

Every year auditing organizations active in 20 countries publish trade fair and exhibition statistics of the European market. This year’s publication contains audited exhibitor, visitor and rented space figures for 1,899 trade fairs and exhibitions held throughout Europe in 2007.

Average trade show budget of German companies

German companies have realised 10 trade show participations in their home country and abroad in the years 2006 - 2007. They are actually planning to spend on average about 400,000 € for the two year period 2008 - 2009 on exhibitions.

The KME view: German exports - getting along with the weak Dollar?

The vulnerability of the German exporting industry caused by currency exchange rates, especially the Dollar to Euro rate, has decreased during the last years. Meanwhile around 80 per cent of German exports are accounted for in Euro and only some 13 per cent in Dollar.

The number of trade fairs in Ukraine, finding international attention, is constantly increasing. In summer 2008 Ukraine will become a new member of the World Trade Organization and plans an immediate creation of a free trade zone with the European Union. The UEFA EURO 2012 provides already now additional economic impulses. These are reasons enough to know better about the Ukrainian market, not at least about its fairs and exhibitions as trade platforms.
